The Lodge on the Greenbrier River is located on the river in beautiful Pocahontas County, WV adjacent to Watoga State Park. The Greenbrier River is excellent fishing for smallmouth bass, redeyes, and bluegill. There is also excellent recreation for canoeing, kayaking, or tube floating. The Greenbrier River Trail is also a stones throw away which offers guests a 78 mile hard packed gravel trail that is restricted to bicycle, foot, or horseback travel and is virtually flat the entire length. Beartown is a 10 minute drive as well as Droop Mountain Battlefield and Pearl S Buck Birthplace. Less than a hours drive you can visit Snowshoe Mountain Ski Resort as well as Cass Scenic Railroad.

If you are looking for a great family vacation spot this is the place to be. You have the opportunity to enjoy some of the most beautiful mountain scenery that WV has to offer. Whether its hiking, riding bikes, fishing, kayaking or floating down the river on a inner tube, or just sitting by the river it offers it all.
